A fast-moving fire tore through a strip of local businesses in the Morrisania section of the Bronx. One of the stores destroyed was a pet shop. Dozens of animals were killed in the fire and smoke. Firefighters battled the flames for hours. No one was seriously injured. Christina Park reports.
